Kitchen Island Bar Stool
On most small islands there would be little need for a fire engine. However, you might want to put fire engine red around your kitchen island. You might want to surround it with red metal kitchen island bar stools. Each of these stools has a round seat and tapered legs. Each of those legs has a footrest at its base.
If you have a red floor in your kitchen, or red drapes on your windows, then maybe you want to have more subdued colors around the island in your kitchen. In that case, you might want to purchase the flint bar stools, with the raw metal finish. Every one of these stools has flared legs and exposed welding. All of these handcrafted stools sit on sturdy capped feet.
Now before you read about this next type of stool, think for a minute about the function of an island in the kitchen. It can be a bar, or it can be a place where the cook carries out parts of the needed food preparation. For that reason, an island should accommodate the cook. For that reason, it could be quite tall, or more on the “short” side.
The Schoolhouse bar stool comes in two sizes–Medium and Tall. The seat of the Medium stool is 26 inches above the floor. The seat of the Tall stool rises a full 30 inches above the floor. Skilled hands carved each Schoolhouse stool out of solid beech. Then the carved stool was covered with one of four stains–Mahogany, Black, Antique Honey or Red.
If you prefer to have white stools around your island, or if you want to enjoy the comfort of a natural rush seat, then you should look at the Napoleon Bar stools. While the School seats come in two sizes, these Napoleon stools come in two styles–backless and backed.
